چکیده

The measuring process is an external intervention in the dynamics of a quantum system. It involves a unitary interaction of that system with a measuring apparatus, a further interaction of both with an unknown environment causing decoherence, and then the deletion of a subsystem. This description of the measuring process is a substantial generalization of current models in quantum measurement theory. In particular, no ancilla is needed. The final result is represented by a completely positive map of the quantum state ρ (possibly with a change of the dimensions of ρ). A continuous limit of the above process leads to Lindblad's equation for the quantum dynamical semigroup.

A Quantum/classical Entropy Concept for Measuring Phase-space Localization

We present an entropy concept measuring phase-space localization in dynamical systems based on time-averaged phase-space densities. This entropy has a direct classical counterpart; its local scaling with ln h ?1=2 is the information dimension of the underlying invariant sets of the classical dynamics. The proposed entropy concept allows to visualize the global phase-space structure of the quant...

Exploring and Exploiting Quantum-Dot Cellular Automata

The Full Adders (FAs) constitute the essential elements of digital systems, in a sense that they affect the circuit parameters of such systems. With respect to the MOSFET restrictions, its replacement by new devices and technologies is inevitable. QCA is one of the accomplishments in nanotechnology nominated as the candidate for MOSFET replacement. In this article 4 new layouts are presente...

Constacyclic Codes over Group Ring (Zq[v])/G

Recently, codes over some special finite rings especially chain rings have been studied. More recently, codes over finite non-chain rings have been also considered. Study on codes over such rings or rings in general is motivated by the existence of some special maps called Gray maps whose images give codes over fields. Quantum error-correcting (QEC) codes play a crucial role in protecting quantum ...
